I am struggling to get Open Meetings/Pade work correctly.
Here is my configuration.
- Running Openfire 4.2.3 and Pade 0.6
- Openfire is authenticating users against an Active Directory
- Server Host Name (FQDN): messenger.server.net
I would like to setup 2 groups, one only available to users who belong to the “jabber” group and one that is only available to the “jabberguest” group.
A) So far I have created a " Group Chat Service Properties"
Who should the Add Administrator (JID) be? The focus user ot eh “administrator” user?
What should the Room Creation Permissions be set at?
Anyone can create a chat room or Only specific users/groups can create a chat room?
How about the Default Room Settings? What options should I select?
B) Have created 2 Group Chat Rooms
- Home (to be used only by the “jabber” users)
- Guests (to be used only by the “jabberguests” users)
For each room, I have set the room members to “jabber” for Home and “jaggerguests” for the Guests room. What should I set the Room Owners/Room Admins to? focus, administrator or others?
C) Have created 2 Group Chat Bookmarks, one for Home and one for Guests. Both have the “auto join” option enabled and the appropriate users/groups selected (i.e. group jabber for Home and group jabberguests for Guests).
One last thing. When I go to https://messenger.server.net:7443/ofmeet/home should the site prompt me to log in? Currently it does not.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
