I am an Openfire newbie so this may seem obvious but how does one authorize a pending buddy? When adding a new contact, it comes up as “pending”, even after I chat with the pending contact. I cannot see any menu item for authorizing in the UI. Another issue I’m having is that the phone icon doesn’t show up for contacts despite having all the plugins installed on the client and server side. How does one go about enabling that functionality? It may be a MacAfee or Windows issue but I’m not sure which. Thank you in advance for any advice on these matters.
Do you have the subscription plugin installed and enabled? This allows you to adjust the subscription requests. As for the phone I am not sure…sorry.
