Please define "large installation"

I am looking to deploy Jive Messenger at our company of about 100 users. Would this be concidered a large installation?

Nope, that would not be considered large – you’'d need to get to several thousand active users before being “large”.

Hi Wes,

I’‘d say for 100 users you’‘d be fine with the embedded (url=http://hsqldb.org/HSQDLDB[/url]) DB, especially if you don’'t already have a standalone database available to you. If you use the embedded DB just be sure to backup your embedded-db directory of your Messenger installation regularly.
