Yes, I selected HSQLDB. Is there a way of getting back to the openfire db install config? I had to edit the openfire XML file and change the string from true to **false **to get me back to the initial config.

Also, if I go back and change the Base DN to dc=eecomail,dc=ad, it will not look for the users in the AD root -> ou openfire -> group ofusers

Hey bud, thanks for guiding me through the whole process. I was able to download and install MySQL and use it with the AD LDAP just fine. I appreciate your time and I hope in the future I can help you as well.
