OK, I’'m a very new user to WildFire / Spark. We use it in-house on our own server, just for about 15 people.

I have downloaded the presence plugin, and have no problem making an HTML doc to return the online status in the form of an icon… but getting the page to return the text is throwing me for a loop.

How can I do this? Can someone post sample HTML code for me?

I hope that you can get the text and you just have a little problem to include in a big HTML page. http://www.jivesoftware.org/community/thread.jspa?messageID=126435&#126435 should help you to build a HTML page.
