Problem: Smack source files are encoded using DOS encoding

Hey.

I’‘m having a huge problem here. The Smack source files are all encoded in DOS (with CRLF line endings). I’‘m trying to make a CVS tree for this so I can edit the source against it. This isn’'t working out, because CVS wants the line endings to be only LF. Any tips, or perhaps can this be fixed on your end so the files have UNIX encoding?

Most good CVS clients out there will automatically handle line feed issues for you. If that doesn’'t work, there are lots of automated tools to convert between the line feed formats – for example, I think there is a task in Ant for this?
