Problem with Yahoo IM Gateway not logging in to Yahoo

I have installed OpenFire and the IM gateway plugin. I have configured the Yahoo service with my Yahoo user name and password. The status screen for the services states “last logon” never for Yahoo even though I have logged an Ichat client into the Openfire server to utilize the gateway. The test button works succcessfully. How do I view a log to determine what the problem is with the Yahoo logon?

The IM Gateway plugin is no longer valid. Do not use it. Google the Kraken Plugin. It will work.

I doanloaded and installed the latest Kraken

plugin and removed the IM gateway plugin. Now I can see the Yahoo users on line however I cannot receive messages that they type even though they see what I type.

My config is 1) running Openfire directly on my Mac. 2) Using Ichat as the Jabber client.
