Problems for some clients sending jabber messages over openfire using Trillian client

Hey folks,

I’ve had my openfire system up and running for about 6 months now and for the entire time it seems like occasionally some of my users lose the ability to send messages. They can still receive messages just fine, but just can’t send any.

If that client disconnects from openfire for at least 30 seconds and logs back in then USUALLY it works again, for a while.

I cannot seem to determine what is causing the problem. We run Openfire (connected to Active Directory for accounts) here with Trillian Pro as the client, though I have also seen the problem occur with Pidgen and with Spark.

While the problem was annoying to begin with, it seems to be happening with more and more frequency now and I need to find a resolution quickly.

Help!?
