Problems getting started on solaris

Hello everyone,

I have problems getting the Messenger Version 2.1.1 started on solaris.

I have JRE 5.1, when executing ./messenger start, ist says, that it started, but I cant connect to the IP-Adress on Port 9090 via a browser, to access the admin menue.

In fact, netstat -an shows, that no processes are listening on port 9090.

I hope you have any suggestions, if you need to know anything, just ask

regards

MArkus

I have an addition.

In the stderrorlog is written the following:

java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: org.jivesoftware.messenger.starter.ServerStarter

at java.net.URLClassLoader$1.run(Unknown Source)

at java.security.AccessController.doPrivileged(Native Method)

at java.net.URLClassLoader.findClass(Unknown Source)

at java.lang.ClassLoader.loadClass(Unknown Source)

at sun.misc.Launcher$AppClassLoader.loadClass(Unknown Source)

at java.lang.ClassLoader.loadClass(Unknown Source)

at com.exe4j.runtime.LauncherEngine.launch(Unknown Source)

at com.install4j.runtime.Launcher.main(Unknown Source)

Okay, the problem was my own server, the archive has not completly extracted on it, but it hasn’'t given me an error…now the jive messenger works
