How can I configure openfire/gateway to run msn traffic through a proxy?
Background:
We run all msn traffic through the proxy server. To configure Pidgin for msn, I specify “Http proxy” and the proxy host and port.
I wish to configure openfire so it also runs msn (port 1863) through the proxy server.
note:
I’m not clear if I configure this on the server/openfire level or on the transport/gateway level.
Also, this documentation should, but does not, clarify this issue. It says “TODO” for the xmpp.proxy.port and similar properties: (i.e. instead of a description)
