So, how can i use this things> then i browse this services i get nothing and this is my

info-log:

2005.07.25 01:39:31 Packet sent to unreachable address

well. as i think there are can be just to reasons of this

  1. this feauter is not supported in Jive

  2. where must be other adress then “/admin”

Help me please %) I will never forget you %) thanks

p.s. from russia thith love

maybe this is a Psi problem? These are a few issues i have reported to Psi devs after testing 0.9.3 version:

*do not shows Topic created by server (Jive Messenger server)

*do not shows user kick/ban/exit/enter messages in MUC

*do not reacts on kick or ban, chat room window is still open, but you cant send/receive messages. No message that session is closed or else.

*no administrator functions in MUC

*is it possible to add chat room to users roster as simple contact (as JAJC and Gaim do)?

*no possibility to enter passprotected chat rooms

As i recall there were no admin functions in MUC or i just didnt find them. Where exactly are you seeing this “Admin -> How much users online” menu?

This are jabberd (even only 1.4.x?) only things. So this is some unstandard bloat in Psi. Ask Psi developers to remove that feature.

Hey fresh,

I’'m curious how did you generate those packets? The structure of those packets is fine but the TO value is not very usual. The server is saying that the packet was sent to an unreachable address because there is no user “jabber.raid.ru/admin” connected to the server. Is that address correct?

Regards,

as far as i remember i was connected like admin.

so anyway, i`ll try it again, and will tell you about results

i think i`ll do it this night.

well i have found this menu, every account in Psi has this, but i dont know what for.

These are feature that I know of from Jabberd 1.4 and 2.0

They are controlled by an ACL setup in the configs

When SM (I think) sees the packets it replys back as server with the info.

You can also set MOTD and do announce through these options.

To my knowledge Jabberd are the only OSS servers that use these functions, but maybe eJabberd is in there as well.
