Publish list of all registered users

I’‘ve set up a Jive Messenger server at my work and I’'m trying to persuade my colleagues to use it. One feature everyone wants is to be able to see a list off all users who have registered. The administrator can do that via the Admin Console, but is there a way to make this available to regular users?

Thanks,

David

David,

Why not put everyone into shared groups organized by departments? Then you can decide exactly who should be able to see each other. A couple of people will be working on a web presence plugin pretty soon too, which may also be useful for you when it’'s out.

Is there any way to put users in a default group immediately upon registration? The issue is that users register, and then can’'t see immediately who else is registered.

I could create the groups manually, but this would require a delay between registration and the user joining the group.

That’‘s a good feature idea. I’'ve added it as JM-239.
