I am using Wildfire on a windows 2003 server and connecting to a clustered ms sql database (active/passive). When I switch to another node (same virtual ip), wildfire seems to lose it’‘s database connection, and while it looks like it’'s running, it will not accept connections.
Will it evently find it’'s database connection? Any other solutions? Besides writing a script to restart the service?
there’'s the open issue JM-343 and maybe some more. There are known problems with the database reconnect, also discussed here but no JM issue was created.
At least, I am not the only one having problems with it…Hopefully it can be resolved in a new release. Until then I will get out my scripting hat, and make a little something something for it…
