Questions Regarding Shared Groups

I just have a couple questions in using Openfire:

  1. Is there a way as a user the choice to hide shared groups on the buddy list?

  2. As an administrator, is there a way to look up an AD group based on the alias used when group sharing was set?

Hi Vinh,

I can address #1. There probably isn’t, as the client is unaware of if the group is “shared” or a “normal” group.
