Rare, spontaneous sign off with AIM

Hi,

I’ve been having a beastly issue where sometimes I get thrown off aim for no apparent reason. I’m using 3.4.3 and 1.2.1a for the time being but I am upgrading. I have a few questions. Do you think the upgrade will help in anyway?

Do you think that given the fact that I manually send a heartbeat (this is different from the gateway-generated heartbeat) to AOL, that I could be shooting myself in the foot with that behavior? Is it even necessary? Do you think it would be detrimental?

Any ideas in general why this spontaneous sign off would occur, and what can I check to see this? I have a similar issue explains in this thread:

I’m linking to it since it has healthy logs to look at.

Much appreciated with any help.

I would suggest turning on the debug logs…I am having issues with AIM on sign in and rarely disconnecting on its own as well and find a lot of information in the debug logs…

Record the time you get bumped and look at that time in the logs…

Unfortunately, I do have the debug logs on, but I only see a lack of activity, nothing that helps me diagnose the problem. Would you mind sharing your debug logs and showing me what you mean?

my problem happens mostly at sign on so I know when it happens…here is the connect string that i think is my problem… see the last line
