A new version of the Red5 Plugin has been released. It has been recompiled for Openfire 3.5RC1 and not tested on lower versions. The embedded Red5 server has been upgraded to 0.7. The 320x240 video screen now works in the Spark plugin. Support for Pandion is dropped and the zip file removed. Most of the issues still remain, but I am slowly working my way through them.
I have tested 0.0.14 on openfire 3.4.5, red5 server 0.7, apache-ant module 1.6, sun java jdk 6, ubuntu dapper drake and it is not working for me
Sounds like you installed Red5 server 0.7 as well as Openfire and plugin on same machine??. If so, then you will have clash of ports. The plugin includes the while red5 server java classes. Version 0.0.13 is Red5 server 0.6.2 while Version 0.0.14 is red5 server 0.7
Do you mean i do not have to install the red5 server on my machine? It will work with “only” the plugin for openfire? But the apache ant module is needed?
no that would mean you have to mach red5 plugin v0.13 with with red5 server .06 but you do have to have the red5 server on the same computer. If you want to use red5pluginv.0.14 then you would match that to the new red5 server 0.7 I am using openfire 3.4.5 red5 server 0.6 and red5 plugin v0.13 so the red5 server you want red5 0.6 to run plugin v 0.13
Wait. Lets get this clear I do not have to install the red5 server on my system, only the red5 plugin for openfire. Or should i install the red5 server on my machine and make sure, that the openfire red5 plugin matches the red5 server version? (e.g. 0.0.14 - red5 server v.7)
