Register failing on presence probe

I am trying to test the latest gateway with openfire 3_3_0 on linux with a test setup running on my localhost.

registering a user to a gateway fails and the debug shows a presence probe is sent and a response is sent back with an error.

Any ideas?

That message came from “you”, clive@localhost. I’'m not sure what answers on your behalf though. Either way, the yahoo transport asked for your presence (probe) and “something” responded with a forbidden error. Either your client or Openfire itself or something.
