I set up openfire with standard installation.
Erverything is ok, when I register an account via the webinterface.
Neither with gajim, nor with Pidgin I was able to register an account.
What can I do?
Additional infos:
On my server runs additionally zimbra and funambol, perhaps this is the problem?
When I deactivate public registering and try to register via gajim; I get the correct answer: “not allowed”.
If I activate public registrations, gajim tries to register, but nothing happens. The server logs all stay empty!
What can i do?
netstat -l shows, that port 5223 is used; 5222 not.
with tkabber I am able to register. with gajim and pidgin I am not.
