Hi Everyone,

I’'ve got wildfire installed on a slackware box. The only problem: this box has no head (monitor). I need to run the setup page from another workstation on the network. The IP of the server I installed on is 192.168.1.99. I point my workstation browser to http://192.168.1.99:9090 and it times out, as expected.

Is there a way I can enable the setup to be done via a remote workstation?

Hi Tyler,

Wifi binds to all IP addresses, so I guess there is a firewall involved. Could you please verify with “netstat -an|grep 9090” that Wifi is listening not only to localhost?

heh, I did indeed forget to add new rules to my firewall script allowing port 9090. Thanks for getting my brain firing on all cylinders!
