is it possible to build a RPM without JRE ?
the RPM will test the dependancy (the presence of java) before installing.
on my test box, I remove the /opt/jive_messenger/jre dir and my JM works well.

Other than download size, I can’‘t see a good reason to offer this. The whole point of the RPM is that it’‘s easy to install with as few dependencies as possible. If we didn’‘t bundle the JVM, that wouldn’‘t be possible. Can you provide a few more details on why you’'d like to see an RPM without the JRE?
