running: wildfire 3.1.1 and XIFF 3 on windows XP from flex
I am stuck.
I’'m running Wildfire 3.1.1 as “localhost” on my desktop on port 5222.
I’'ve logged in to this Wildfire server through a Psi client.
On the same desktop, but as a different registered user, I can also log in from my Flex app, display my presence as online and send a message from the flex app to the Psi client.
What I can’'t do EVER, is receive any messages back from the Psi client. Even though the Psi client registers the flex user as online.
In fact it appears that I never receive ANY incoming events from wildfire on the Flex app since XMPPConnection’'s onSocketData function is never called.
Clearly I’‘m missing something obvious. But I’'m darned if I can see what it is.
Can anyone help me please?
(EDIT: marked as resolved as I since found that I wasn’‘t passing “flash” to XMPPConnection’‘s connect method. man that’'s lame. Hours I spent on that.)
