Not sure if this is something limited by the server or spark or both. With other clients we can specify a resource ID so we can be signed in from multiple places at the same time. For instance, a user is signed in using palringo on his phone and with jabbim on his desktop at the same time. His logins are using resource Ids like this: user@im.domain.com/phone and user@im.domain.com/desktop. Is it possible to specify a resource ID in spark so a user can be signed in from multiple places? Maybe this doesn’t make sense…
On Spark login screen press Advanced. There you can find Resource field.
Or you can edit the spark.properties in the user’s profile and change the value for resource . Since I use spark in windows and linux I set my windows one to resource=winspark . You can do this at install time if you want to set everyone’s the same.
