Restrict communication between certain users

Hi,

i’m new to openfire, i just installed.

I’m working at a College and want to set up IM service for Student Support. The users will be downloaded via LDAP.

issues…i do not want the users to be able to chat to each other, but only staff<>student and staff<>staff dialogs.

Is this possible? How can i achieve this?

all help would be much appreciated

I think you could use shared groups in combination with the PacketFilter Plugin.
