Roster add on reception of a presence "subscribed" packet

Hi everyone,

I’‘m writing a custom application, and we are planning on using wildfire as our IM server. We’‘re experiencing a strange problem. If a user (say user A) sends another user (say user B) a presence “subscribed” packet, it automatically adds user A to user B’'s roster? Should this be happening? Is there any way I can stop it from happening?

Hi,

there are issue JM-384 and JM-903 which both describe problems with “subscribe” and it is fixed in Wildfire 3.2.0 which will likely be available in January 2007.
