Search implementation

Hi everybody!

I’‘ve tried to implement seacrh example from “Sparkplug development guide” but it seems it doesn’'t work. I successfully compiled it (except LaRes/SparkRes issue) but Spark does not react to new search class registration. It looks like guide is deprecated a bit and it does not show something that I need to implement.

Does anybody have something to aid my problem?

Hi abugy,

Are you still having problems? Have you checked to make sure your spakplug is loaded using the Spark -> Plugins menu item? I’'ve implemented a couple of search services using the Sparkplug Development Guide (which is a slightly date) as a starting point. As you pointed out with later versions of Spark you need to change LaRes to SparkRes.
