Search in Monitoring Service

Hi community.

We’ve been testing openfire to achive Compliance requeriments, specially in logging conversations.

Do I really need to put on the box “**Participant(s):” **a full username / email?

example: my username is user.name if a put **user **(only) the search doesn’t return result. When I put user.name I get the result sucefully.

Thanks…

Well, probably it doesn’t support wildcards. Btw, if you need to work with compliance and logging is the part of it, then i suggest to look for alternatives. Monitoring plugin is not in development and sometimes it just stops working and so far nobody was able to tell why. Also you can’t delete conversations you want. In time your database will grow huge. Using built-in audit logs feature is better, but you will need to code some tool for reading these logs, as it is in xml format.

I see.

We’ll try to built some app to read these logs.

Thanks for you suggestion.
