Current specification of MUC (XEP-0045: Multi-User Chat ) doesn’t support file sharing. It only lists it as an advanced feature, which could be added in the future. Spark and Openfire are standards compliant programs, so as file sharing is not described in the MUC protocol, it won’t be added as an additional feature. Also, such feature is not a trivial task to add and Spark doesn’t have competent developers working on it for years. So, sorry, but it won’t be added in the next update.
