First i would like to say that i was using ejabberd and i was thinking that it is the best jabber server but after ive found openfire ive changed my mind. IT IS PERFRECT! Really, really good work!
Anyway, i have a problem:
I`m using LDAP authentication to server and users jids are: user@foo.com (this is also their email). Jabber server is located at jabber.foo.com but jid is foo.com so i cannot connect to openfire via client even specify the jabber.foo.com. In ejabberd i can simply do this, by setting server: foo.com and adding entries to nameserver:
_jabber._tcp.foo.com. 86400 IN SRV 5 0 5269 jabber.foo.com.
_xmpp-server._tcp.foo.com. 86400 IN SRV 5 0 5269 jabber.foo.com.
_xmpp-client._tcp.foo.com. 86400 IN SRV 5 0 5222 jabber.foo.com.
I still got that entries in my domain, but with openfire i cannot connect.
Anyone know how to use that?
