i’m seeing that “sometimes” when my clients (both php and flash) attempt to join a chat room via the appropriate presence stanza, openfire does not respond at all.
expected back are at least 1 and at most 3 things.

has anybody else seen this happen to them and have any insight into the problem? the server is not giving me any sort of “can’t join room” response, but also no “joined room successfully” response so my clients get stuck.
