Hello all, I was looking to see if anyone is aware of a code snippet that allows for the online status of a server viewable from a website…? I do not want to have a chat interface or any other such protocol from the my website other than a small icon that changes from green (online) to red (offline) so people can note when my private server is active.
I have been searching for weeks and the best thing I could find comes from this website http://www.jabbim.com/services-status-icon.html but it also states that “In order for the status icon to work, you have to authorize the user jabstatus@njs.netlab.cz.” which I’ve not been able to find a setting that authorizes a user outside of the xmpp domain server…
Please help if there is any to give
