I am trying to authroize my server (home grown) with openfire 3.6.4, however when I send my db:result to the openfire server, it attempts to resolve (via DNS) the authoratative server, but never finds it, therefore never approves my connection. This is becuase I am trying to verify that my server is working on a test network, which isolated with only two machines, 1-my server 2-openfire server.
Is there a way to specify the openfire server as the authoratative server? Or is there some other way to get the connection validated?
I have set up my network with 2 openfire servers and they validate dialback, but when I send the same type of stanza from my server to openfire it always looks for the authoratative server.
