Session tab in Adminconsole shows servers IP not client

Hello,

I finally got JWChat to work with Openfire 3.6.2 with http-bind.

I have an Apache server with JWChat and Openfire running on the same machine.

The only problem now is that when I go to ‘sessions’ under Admin-console, the IP Address of a user logged in through JWChat is the server’s IP address!! Not of his/her machine!

Spark/other clients properly display the client’s IP address.

I understand this is probably because of the ‘binding’ method that JWChat uses to connect but is there a workaround???

Hi,

there is as far as I know no workaround. Openfire will display the IP address of your JWChat server as it is the client.
