Shared groups not working with LDAP users in 2.6.2

Creating a group in the admin console, adding users and setting it to “show group in members’’ rosters” doesn’‘t show the group in any of the member’'s roster.

The users are all in LDAP but the admin console doesn’'t seem able to add the groups to their rosters.

Is this what is meant to happen or is it a problem I need to fix?

Are you using the LDAP group provider as well? If so, you cannot add new groups from Wildfire.

I don’‘t think I’'m using the LDAP group provider:

I can create the groups ok in the admin console but they won’'t show in members rosters.

Just one thing that I ran into…

Make sure you have something in the “Group Display Name” field, or it won’'t show up in the rosters, regardless of any other settings.

yes, it won’‘t even let you save the changes to the group without a display name. I’'ve set that but no luck. Still not appearing in rosters.
