Although I am perfectly sure that I have a working Asterisk on the same machine then opfenfire 3.5.0 the connection test to localhost as well to FQDN FAILS when trying from OF Webgui?? Any idea?

Does your Asterisk server support SIMPLE extensions to SIP? Does it support presence and such? The IM Gateway plugin is for that support, not for phone type support. =) I’m actually planning on renaming it to be SIMPLE Transport instead of SIP transport. (or maybe SIP/SIMPLE) Haven’t decided yet.
