I’'d like to know when the next final version (2.1) of Smack API will be released.

Ciao Fabio,

Smack 2.1.0 will be released next Thursday (17-Nov-2005). Meanwhile, you may use the nightly build versions that are quite stable. Are you looking for any particular feature that is still not implemented?
