We would like to know when will the Smack API be released as a release version.

Karthik,

Jive Messenger (our XMPP server product) is set to be released within about a month, so I plan to have the final 1.0 of Smack out at about the same time. There will continue to be new betas that add functionality and fix bugs until then.
