Yesterday we tested s2s connection with gmail and it worked fine. It took a couple of minutes to fully establish the connection to gmail but it finally worked. I just tried it again and it’'s still working. The only thing to take in consideration is that gmail is using the roster as the whitelist so in order to exchange messages your remote user should appear in your gmail roster.
