Spark 2.5.0 Beta 3 windows installer bug

For some odd reason, I am unable to install Spark 2.5.0 Beta 3 on my Windows 98SE machine.

The installer will begin the initial decompression (the first progress bar after double clicking the installer icon), but immediately terminates after it finishes decompression. It does not install Spark.

Well, I stand corrected. I redownloaded the installer and that seems to have fixed the issue.

Unfortunately, it crashed my system. Here are the details:

SPARK_2_5_0_BETA3 caused an invalid page fault in

After the reboot, I installed Spark 2.0.8 and called it a day.

Just as a follow up, I was able to get Spark 2.5.0 Beta 4 installed on my Windows 98SE. I am wondering if the 2.5.0-b3 installer was corrupted during download.
