Spark 2.5.5 will not go idle

Spark version 2.5.5 on a Vista computer and the spark client will ever go idle. I have tried chaning the timeout, removing and reloading, enabling and disabling Idle time and nothing makes a difference. Help!

Hi pls04012,

Could you install Spark 2.5.6 and verify that the jniwrapper.jar file in the plugins directory is being extracted out? I’m looking into a possible limited user problem.

I checked the jniwrapper files and directory and they are all dated 8/23 now from 8/7 however, the idle still does not work.
