This is a new install of Openfire with LDAP integration. In Spark everytime I go to add a user the client tells me “Your connection was closed due to an error”.
What do you mean by add a user? Some clarification on your system config and what exactly you are trying to do will definitely help.

What I mean by add a user is in Spark I am trying to add a contact to my messenger. I have just installed it and only two people are using it, myself and my friend behind me. He can add me as a user but I am always pending to him.

In that case it may be a faulty install of spark for you generating that error.
You can simplify the process by configuring the subscription properties. Set it to accept all. This will make it so that you do not need to approve the addition of your id to a roster. If you configure a group with all users to be shared it will populate the users into the roster automatically.
