Spark and Mac OS X: Not playing sounds

Hi,

I have set the Spark client to play sounds upon receiving messages. While it works in Windows, it doesn’t seem to be working in Mac OS X. No sound plays. Can anyone help with this?

This is a very real problem! We have 2 macs in one office. One has sound, the other does not. Have checked settings on both computers and they are the same. Also have some PCs on the system and do not have sound on all of them either. HELP! I have sound from other chat programs if I use them, just not spark.
