Spark Client not working for only one user

Using Spark 2.5.8 on Windows XP connecting to Openfire 3.6.3 on windows using AD/LDAP authentication. This setup is working fine for everyone else.

One user is able to launch Spark and login, but nobody can see her and she can’t chat with anyone, also; she has only the first three item in the preferences panel.

I have done the following:

  1. deleted the spark folder in her windows profile and restarted Spark

  2. copied another profile from a known good account

(note: other users have no problem on the same pc)

  1. had her log in to another PC

  2. had her use Spark on another users PC and profile

Same results.

So I set up an new Openfire server with the same configuration as our first. The user has no problems with the Spark client on the new server.

What can I do to clean up this users “settings” on the first server? I can’t delete the user because it is tied to the AD. Is there a db record I can delete safely?

have you cleared all the cache and restarted openfire server.

Just cleared all cache and restarted the Openfire service.

User reports no change.
