Spark donwload page broken

I cant download spark msi online package. There is no file on server?

And description for Online package is put near simple msi bundled with JRE.

Works for me… just checked and am downloading right now!

the description does look off though

It doesnt for me. I always get 0 bytes. Other JS.org downloads work fine.

If you wait till about 11:45-11:50ish… I’'m uploading it to our site for you.

FYI… it is finished uploading. As long as this link doesn’‘t get too abused, I’'ll leave it up for anyone else who is having trouble

Thanks. But you got me wrong. I’'m talking about Online package - spark_2_0_6_online.msi

I have donwloaded spark_2_0_6.msi (32 MB) by myself, but i dont need JRE. Actually it’'s not a big problem that i cant donwload it. I just want this to be fixed.

DOH! I guess I should have read more carefully… That link is not working here either. Have a happy thanksgiving at anyrate. sorry i couldn’'t help this time around.

Here, 5 points for confirmation

I confirmed it was broken and fixed it. Sorry about that.

Cheers,

Derek

Ok. It work’'s. But the description for the simple MSI is still incorrect.

May you put spark_2_0_6.exe into your site? I can’'t download anything from jivesoftware downloads page.

Here you go…

Thank you very much I’'ll download this right now.

May you mirror spark_2_0_7.exe into your site?

Thanks again!

PS: Does anybody knows why i can’'t download directly from jivesoftware? I open download page (http://www.igniterealtime.org/downloadServlet?filename=spark/spark_2_0_7.exe), but nothing happend. Page still blank.

Firefox 2.0/Win32.

I would check the security settings on your browser and/or try in a different browser to see if that works

Thalt,

I’‘d like to figure out why downloads aren’'t working for you. Did you try another browser? Any other clues as to what is going on?

Regards,

Matt

I’'ve tried the downloads with I.E. 7 and Firefox 2.0 I get this error on all Windows Spark downloads (I need the online version BTW…)

Object not found!

The requested URL was not found on this server. If you entered the URL manually please check your spelling and try again.

If you think this is a server error, please contact the webmaster.

Well in order to avoid side-stepping the developers… I’'ll take the links down so we can focus on their mirrors.

Devs… if you do need me to help out in anyway, please let me know.

I tried Firefox 2.0 and IE 6.01. In both cases i can’'t download anything from download page of jivesoftware.

2Developers: I think that mirroring of Spark distributives is a good idea.

Thalt, what about igniterealtime.org Download page?

I wonder, maybe i should reopen that question again. I cant uderstand what is going on with download page. Description is wrong for MSI package. It does contain JRE, so it’‘s over 30MB, but description says “MSI package does not include Java JRE”. I understand that in big deployment environment it’'s more convinient to have msi with JRE bundled, so you dont have to update JRE separately. But in one user systems, when i have JRE already installed, why should i download 22MB only to delete it after install? Ok, you have online.exe. But it conflicts with my firewall, so i prefer msi. Ok, maintaining of all this packages is too hard? I understand. So say that. That there will always be only EXE, ONLINE.EXE and MSI, and no ONLINE.MSI. So then i will stop bugging you and download that 30MB package all the time.

Nothing happend. Maybe problem in DownloadServlet? On which side this applet is running? ServerSide or on ClientSide?
