Spark duplication of contacts

Hello!
Sorry for my english.
When you set up an organizational structure in your Openfire contact list, duplicate contacts occur.

I will be glad to any help.

Centos7 + Openfire 4.3.2 + Spark 2.8.3
Used a different configuration, always goes the same.

I think this is Spark issue and not Openfire. You can try it with some other client (Miranda, Gajim) to make sure. Is it only showing duplicates in Broadcast message window or in a regular contacts list also? What if you remove nested groups and have only regular groups (without :: in their names)?

This sounds a bit similar to https://issues.igniterealtime.org/browse/SPARK-2083 but in that case there were actually users with the same name in contact list.

Yes, of course without :: working in groups normally. And in SIP this problem is not. But even without a structure it is not desirable to work. About :: read somewhere on the forum and was sure that it would not harm the system. What to do?

Do you see duplicates only in broadcast message window?

Do you see duplicates in contact list when you use :: in groups?

This seems like an additional issue with nested groups (and there are many of them) https://issues.igniterealtime.org/browse/SPARK-709

Spark has a very buggy implementation of nested groups (with ::), so i suggest to not use it. I have no other suggestion. Spark has no developers, there are many bugs and maybe they will never be fixed.

Yes, the problem is only in the list of contacts mailing.
There are no duplicates in the normal contact list.

Good. I think we will look in the direction of other client messages. Thank!
