Spark.exe executes but terminates almost immediately

I have Spark installed on a Windows Server 2008 computer and it runs fine for some users Admins & Users however there are some users where the application executes and closes immediately.

Nothing appears on the screen, but you see it happening in task manager.

I checked through the forums and we have tried running via command line, and also looked at the spark.properties file. The file has nothing inside of it like the users that are working fine so I tried to copy a working file over and still no luck.

Any suggestions?

Have you checked the running processes in Task Manager? I have seen Spark crash on user systems, but leave a process running. That will prevent a second instance of it opening up.
