Spark hanging when switching laptop from ethernet to wifi

I have laptops that are connected to docking stations which have ethernet, but the laptop is also on our wifi network. Both connections are the same subnet/vlan. Occasionally our laptop users will undock and take their laptop into a meeting and Spark will hang. Sometimes it gives the disconnect/reconnect message but never reconnects. They have to exit Spark completely before they are able to reconnect. Is there something I can do to make Spark transition from ethernet to wifi more seemlessly?

I don’t think you can do anything about it. Someone would have to rewrite Spark’s reconnection code from a scratch i think. And Spark doesn’t have active developers most of the time.

Have filed this as SPARK-2027. Open for patches.
