Spark - java.net.SocketException: Connection reset

Spark has been working great for the majority of our users but, we have a couple people in different geographical locations that are getting this same error or something very similar to it. I was wondering if anybody has some incite to what the error actually means. It’s quite obvious the connection is being dropped, but the client still has full internet connectivity when this happens.

& a BIG Thanks to the jive community -

More information about when this is happening would help. What are the clients getting when it disconnects? What plugins do you have installed server/client side?

I just had a similar connection problem where ~10 seconds after the user logs in, they would be disconnected. I got an error on the server similar to yours, but in the routing object. The problem turned out to be an issue with the client manager. I had added a client update to the server then removed it. I had to reinstall the server to fix the issue.

I also get this problem.

Seem to happend when my laptop get in screensaver mode or standby mode.

Please check your SocketFactory,do not set soTimeout 10s(socket.setSoTimeout(10 * 1000)),just set value to 0.
