I have recently come across Openfire and Spark and have this week set it up across the work domain.
It all running fine on all the PC’s (as far as I can tell) except for my PC.
When I have Spark running on my PC it makes Adobe Illustrator sluggish and at times unresponsive.
As soon as I quit Spark my PC returns to normal.
I have tried reinstalling Spark a few times on different drives (my C drive being a solid state drive. D drive a regular hard drive).
Have tried reinstalling Java.
Still the same problem.
All the PC’s here are new (within the last couple of months). All quad cores and minimum 4GB RAM. ALl built by myself.
Spark runs fine on them all except mine. The only difference with my PC is 8GB RAM and the solid state drive.
The other graphic designer here says Illustrator/Photoshop/etc is running fine with Spark running, so it seems to be just my pc.
Any suggestions?
Typically, Im the one who built all the new PC’s, set up the network and installed Openfire/Spark, and typically its my PC it doesnt run properly on. Very frustrating.
