Spark + OpenFire : network interruption


We currently use Spark and Openfire in the company. We use Spark 2.6.3 and OpenFire 3.7.1. OpenFire is connecting to Active Directory for authentication. OpenFire server is not visible on the internet (only on the LAN). Spark is launched automatically at startup on all pc.

Laptop users travel regularly and they don’t always have a network connection.

How to configure OpenFire or Spark to avoid the error message “can not to contact to server” ?

There is currently no option to disable this. A ticket for this issue exists in the tracker, though some developers do not agree to make this thing silent (first login on startup). Nobody is working on this currently. SPARK-1425
