Upgraded to 2.5.5. Still have the problem when going from wired to wireless or wireless to wired connections - Spark won’'t reconnect. It gives an error saying “Your connection was closed due to an error” with an Attempting… and green checkmark.
To reproduce the problem:
Have a laptop on a wired network connection. Login to Spark.
Disconnect the wired network, so the laptop then registers on wireless.
Spark disconnects and won’'t reconnect.
Also,
Have a laptop on a wireless network connection. Login to Spark.
Plug in a wired network connection.
Spark disconnects and won’'t reconnect.
As a related request, I am only able to access our IM server when I’‘m in the office, or on the VPN. When I boot up on either network connection in the office, Spark is set to launch/login with Windows and works fine. When I am at home, Spark launches with Windows - but cannot login until I launch the VPN. Then it times out, so by the time I get around to launch the VPN, Spark won’'t automatically login and I have to nudge it to do so.
